id rather not have one i suppose, but will the magic mouse ruin the surface/finish of my desk ? any recommendations for a good pad ? Click to expand... I suppose after years and years of use, you might see some wearing on the finish where you use a mouse (if solid wood). We've got some cubicles at work that are HQ veneer, that seem...glossy I guess would be the best way to describe it...where a mouse was used. It doesn't really look bad, in fact, the area that was worn down is like a sweet spot for the mouse. It's like gliding on ice.My cheap white iKea desk at home has sort of a rough texture to it that causes the mouse to feel like it's running over sand and produces a pretty obnoxious sound. Mouse pad is required for me at home . No joke, here's the one I use. Saw it pretty darn cheap at my local hardware store: http://www.menards.com/main/mainten...431039814-c-13536.htm?tid=7685744496925715938. I don't need anything fancy, it's just a mouse pad. Thankfully, I use my Magic Trackpad 2 more frequently these days. |
