Abstract: Incontinence-associated dermatitis is a common clinical symptom caused by repeated exposure to urine or faeces, which brings serious financial and medical burden to patients, their families and society. This article reviews the assessment tools of incontinence dermatitis, including risk assessment tools, severity assessment and other tools, in order to provide effective reference for the assessment, prevention and care of incontinence dermatitis in China.
