To make a simple sock puppet, find a clean sock that’s long enough to cover your arm. Slip the sock on so your fingers are in the toe area and make a C-shape with your hand. If you can reach, put your thumb into the heel area of the sock. If not, tuck the sock into the groove between your thumb and fingers. Use a marker to make 2 dots above the seams for the eyes, and add a nose if you like. Take the sock off and spread it out flat on a table, then glue or sew buttons onto the eye dots.
