The fourth edition of the United Nations Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction is a resource for understanding and analysing global disaster risk today and in the future. The GAR main document is the product of efforts of many partner authors that contributed the building blocks of the GAR, components addressed through a series of activity streams coordinated by and with UNISDR partners including UNEP, WMO, UNDP, the World Bank, WFP, FAO a wide range of specialized technical and academic institutions, regional intergovernmental organizations, NGOs, governments and many others.
