XCMG XDA45 dump truck and XC978 wheel loader walkaround

China-based heavy equipment manufacturer, XCMG, offers an array of machines in the local market, ranging from mini excavators to graders, but its latest additions may be their biggest yet.

The XDA45 41-tonne dump truck and XC978 23-tonne wheel loader are designed for heavier-duty applications and have just recently arrived in the country.

True to XCMG's style, the machines are simple to use but are robust and feature well-known components such as Cummins and Mercedes-Benz engines; and ZF and Allison transmissions.

XCMG said there is a huge demand in Australia for large machinery like these and sees its latest models making a splash in the local market.
