英语口语：除了bad news，还可以怎么表达“坏消息”？

           在我们的日常生活中，谁都会遇到坏消息。在英文的表达中， 你是不是只能用Bad news 表达呢？其实， 除了I have a bad news，下面这些说法也是常用的表达。

常见说法：

We are in deep trouble.

我们身陷困境。

We are in a bind.

我们身处困境。

We have gotten ourselves into hot water.

我们已陷入水深火热之中。

I am in dire straits now.

我已陷入绝境。

I have some disappointing news for you.

我有一些让你失望的消息。

We have a predicament/problem.

我们遭遇了困境/问题。

Now we’re in a mess.

现在我们一团糟。

What a nuisance!

真讨厌！

I have a problem…

我有一个问题...

There is something concerning we need to discuss.

有件事我们需要讨论。

We have a dilemma on our hands now.

我们现在面临两难境地。

What a headache!

真让人头疼！

I have some distressing news.

我有一些令人痛心的消息。

We are in a spot of bother.

我们遇到麻烦了。

We have a real struggle ahead.

我们面临一场真正的战斗。

Sorry to torment you, but…

抱歉要让你饱受折磨，但是...

Sorry to be the bearer of some unfortunate news.

很抱歉，我要告诉你一些不幸的消息。

bad news的特殊用法：

此外，我们常用的bad news还有别的用法，即给某人或某物贴上标签。

例如，如果你知道一个人总是在工作中陷入麻烦或与上级发生冲突，你可以说：

That person is bad news.

那个人是个大麻烦。

That company is bad news. (Like a person the company has a bad reputation.)

那家公司很差劲。（像一个人一样，公司的声誉也很差。）

I’ve heard those cars are bad news. (A type of car that has many problems.)

我听说那些车很糟糕。（一种有很多问题的汽车。）

         如果之后要传达一些不好的消息，试着用上面的表达吧，给接收消息的人平静情绪的时间，从以上的例子我们还可以知道，英文学习的道路是学无止境，这就需要我们平时的努力和持之以恒。
