GageLok® Rail Screws AS1085.18

GageLok® Rail Screws are a range of fasteners designed to fix rail directly to timber or composite sleepers.

GageLok is the Australian market leader for timber and composite sleeper fixings being the contracted supplier to most major rail authorities.

GageLok Rail Screws are a direct replacement for dog spikes.

GageLok Rail Screws feature a DIN standard wood cutting thread and a shank slot to minimise any potential sleeper splitting on installation.

A key feature of the GageLok is that the rail and/or plate is securely clinched to the sleeper, minimising movement of the fastening system over time and minimising damage to the hole.  This results in substantially reduced system maintenance costs over time.

GageLok's are hot dip galvanised to prolong life by minimising rust formation.

GageLok meets the requirements of AS1085.18.  GageLok Rail Screws have also passed the rigorous requirements of the AS1085.18, 3 million cycle, cyclic load test.  Test reports are available upon request.

GageLok holds Type Approvals with Queensland Rail, Arc Infrastructure (previously Brookfield Rail), ARTC, TasRail, CRN and V/Line .
