1) express your intention and;

2) show your qualifications that can be of great help to the Center

You should write at least 100 words on the ANSWER SHEET. Do not use your own name. Use “Li Ming” instead.

Do not write the address.

【范文】

Dear Sir or Madam,

As a senior from Peking University who is exceedingly interested in cultural communication, I am writing for the purpose of applying for the position as a volunteer in your center.

During my first three college years, I focused my eyesight on/paid great attention to my major—Cross-cultural Exchange, and it was my hard work that enabled me to accumulate adequate knowledge concerning about international cultures. In addition, compared with others, I possess richer experience in voluntary service because I have served as a volunteer for several international conferences. Thus, I am convinced that I am qualified for this position.

If I have the opportunity to be a volunteer for your organization, I will do my utmost to practice the voluntary spirit.
