Abstract: The development of Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technology and its application status are comprehensively described. It is mainly summarized from three aspects: PPP ambiguity solution, real-time PPP and multi-system combination PPP. According to the advantages of PPP technology, the practical application of this technology in surveying, monitoring, meteorology and water vapor remote sensing is expounded. Aiming at the newly developed multi-frequency, multi-module and multi-system joint positioning, the future development trend of PPP technology is forecasted. Finally, with the maturity of PPP technology and the refinement and improvement of the model, the problem of rapid initialization of PPP is expected to be breakthrough.
