论文中的Acknowledgments致谢该怎么写？

在写毕业论文的时候，supervisors和department managers会跟大家反复强调，一篇完整的论文必须要包含Acknowledgments致谢词。到底该怎么写呢？接下来我就教大家如何写出一篇perfect的Acknowledgements。

Acknowledgements致谢词，顾名思义是为了感谢那些在研究和写作过程中为你提供帮助和支持人，一般在标题页和摘要之后，通常不超过一页。致谢词不需要太过正式的写作风格，因为它是论文里唯一一块不涉及学术的内容，所以可以使用第一人称代词来使Acknowledgements显得更加通俗和个性。

首先，明确你要感谢的人是谁。

一般有两类人需要感谢，专业上的的和生活上的。一些学校只允许学生感谢那些对对学术有直接帮助的人，比如你的导师或其他学术相关的教授等等。所以，请一定要记得确认你的dissertation guidelines或者university guidelines。也千万不要以为导师们或者审核论文的人们不会看Acknowledgements，如果违反了规定，他们是肯定会发现并且会造成印象分降低的。

其次，尽管没有明确的规定，致谢词也会有比较明确的感谢顺序。

感谢顺序一般如下：funders（赞助者）、supervisors（导师）、other academics（其他学术相关的人）、colleagues（同事）、family and friends（家人和朋友）

通常来说呢，supervisors或者other academics是跟你这个research直接相关的人。但是假如在这个research之前，也有导师给给过你帮助，进而间接促成了这个research的发起和完成，你也可以在Acknowledgements中表示哦。

这里为大家列举一些名单，大家可以对照参考，以免有缺漏。

funding bodies 赞助supervisors 导师professors 教授laboratory assistants 实验室助手librarians 图书管理员colleagues 同事editors/proofreaders (a requirement at some universities) 编校员classmates 同学research participants (e.g. people who completed a survey to help you gather data) 参与了研究的人，比如帮助你收集了数据。

需要注意的是，在提到感谢人的时候，一定要写完整他的名字和title。如果是一个组织或者小组，只需提到他们的组名即可。如果因为隐私问题无法写完整名字，可以只写他的first name 那么或者用interviewees代替。

对于生活中的感谢，不需要提及对每一个家庭成员或者朋友的感谢，且通常是放在致谢的最后。

最后，致谢词的结尾不需要有summary或者conclusion，向最后一位致谢人致谢就可以直接结束了。

“I would like to thank……”是最常用的开头，然后再进行一些细节的描述。

I would like to thank my supervisor, ________ , for his guidance through each stage of the process.I would like to acknowledge Professor, _______, for inspiring my interest in the development of innovative technologies.My research partner, ________, was instrumental in defining the path of my research. For this, I a m extremely grateful.With many thanks to my supervisor, ______ ,for his guidance during this research.

Throughout the writing of this dissertation I have received a great deal of support and assistance.
