Beehive 蜂窝头

Backcombing or teasing with hairspray to style hair on top of the head so that the size and shape is suggestive of a beehive, hence the name.

用发型定型物将头发倒梳起毛固定在头顶，是发型看起来像蜂窝，如名字所示。

Bob cut 波波头

A classic short hairstyle where it is cut above the shoulders in a blunt cut with typically no layers. This style is most common among women.

一种剪到肩膀以上长度，等齐无层次的发型，剪此发型的主要以女居多。

Bowl cut 锅盖头

Named for the shape of the style as much as for a once common method of achieving it (i.e. using a bowl to style the cut by placing it on the head and trimming the exposed hair).

此发型以发型样式以及剪发方式命名（把一个适合大小的碗扣在头顶并沿碗边减掉多余部分的头发）

Bun 发髻

A hairstyle where the hair is pulled into a knot at the back or top of the head. It can also consist of a bun at the side of the head or two buns on either side of the head.

一种把头发在脑后或头顶扎成一个结的发型。也可以在头某一边扎成一个发髻或在头两边扎成两个发髻。

Hair that is combed from one part of the head to

another often to cover up a bald spot.

Cornrows 玉米沟

A hairstyle originating from Subsaharan Africa, popularised by African Americans wherein the hair is braided into a series of French-braid-like locks that cling to the head.

Crew cut平头

A crew cut is a type of haircut in which the hair on the top of the head is cut relatively short, graduated in length from the longest hair at the front hairline to the shortest at the back of the crown.

Dreadlocks长发绺（俗称“脏辫”）

The hair are intentionally matted and sculpted ropes of hair. Various methods are used to encourage the formation of locks such as backcombing, braiding and rolling.

Fishtail hair鱼尾头

Hair is worn in a braid resembling a fish's tail.

Hair that is combed to the front of the head and cut at or above the eyebrows.

Mohawk莫西干

Hair that is shaved or buzzed on the sides leaving a strip of hair in the middle. It is often spiked up.

头发剃掉两边，只留中间一溜，通常弄成尖的竖起来。

Ponytail马尾辫

Long hair that is pulled into one or more sections held in a rubber-band(s) or by ribbon(s) anywhere on a head that is similar to a horse's or pony's tail.

长发收成一股或几股，用橡皮筋或丝带在任意一个位置绑起来，让头发像马的尾巴一样。

Slicked-back大背头

Hair that is combed back, away from the forehead, then held in place with a hairstyling product.

头发通常从前额开始向后梳，然后用定型物固定住。

Undercut底层修剪

The simplest way to describe the hairstyle would be short sides and long top. The beauty of the undercut is both the simplicity and the amount of variation it has. No matter what hair type you have, be it straight or curly, there exists an undercut for you.
