Leica Q2 + battery: 734g

Both the Q and the R8 have 24MP, both have optically stabilised f1.8/1.7 lenses with "macro" capability. The Q retails for £3000 and R8 w/35 is £2200. The Leica lens is probably a little sharper wide open, but the Canon has better ergonomics, much better AF, much better video and a usable "P mode" (The Leica Q chooses really dumb values). I also prefer 35mm to 28mm. The R8+35 could be the camera that I wanted in the first place.
