As we look ahead to the future of the aquaculture industry, we recognize that it will demand double the current amount of raw materials by 2030. Sadly, sustainable alternatives currently account for less than 1% of aquaculture feed. To meet the industry's expected growth, we must significantly scale up these sustainable alternatives in the near term.📈
Unfortunately, the progress in developing new raw materials is slow, and the world are facing tough challenges on the road to success.
However, at Aker BioMarine ASA, we firmly believe that krill can play a crucial role in accelerating this progress. Krill offers a novel, sustainable raw material that is already scaled and can be combined with other new materials to enhance performance and appeal🦐⭐
