【英文有声绘本】皮特猫和消失的纸杯蛋糕《Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes》

派对3点钟开始。

They were making cupcakes for everyone.

Pete and Gus counted the just for fun!

他们给每位朋友做蛋糕。

皮特猫和古斯鸭嘴兽一起数蛋糕玩。

They had ten when they were done.

他们总共做了十个纸杯蛋糕。

OH NO!

HANG ON!

Some of the cupcakes were gone!

They were sure there had been ten.

哦不！

等一下！

有些纸杯蛋糕不见了。

他们确定之前是做了十个蛋糕。

Pete said, “maybe we need to count again!”

皮特猫说。“我们可能需要再好好数数！”

They counted the cupcakes lined up straight.

Now there were only eight!

他们按顺序一个一个数。

现在确实只有八个。

It looked like someone taken two.

看来真的是有人拿了两个。

BUT WHO!

Pete as Gus did not know what to do!

但是是谁？

皮特猫和古斯鸭嘴兽不知道。

Just then they found a clue.

紧接着他们找到了一个线索。

Gus said,” look what I have found.

sprinkles on the ground!

I bet it was squirrel. She loves sprinkles.”

古斯鸭嘴兽说，“看看，地上有洒落物。

我觉得是松鼠。她老是洒落东西。”

Squirrel said,” it wasn’t me! It couldn’t be!

I’ve been at the spelling bee!”

松鼠说，“不是我。不可能是我！”

我在参加Spelling Bee比赛。

Uh-oh. More cupcakes are missing. Come and see!”

哦不！又有纸杯蛋糕不见了。快来看。

THAT WAS TOO WEIRD!

太离奇了！

Two more cupcakes had disappeared!

又不见了两个纸杯蛋糕！

Now there were only six!

Someone must be playing tricks!

现在只剩下6个纸杯蛋糕了！

一定是有人在搞鬼！

But who?

但是是谁？

Pete and Gus did not know what to do!

皮特猫和古斯鸭嘴兽不知道。

Just then they found another clue!

这个时候他们又发现了另一条线索！

Pete said,” I bet it was Alligator!

He loves to eat.

皮特猫说，“我觉得是鳄鱼。”

鳄鱼很贪吃。

Alligator said,”

It wasn’t me！

It couldn’t be!

I’ve been learning my ABCs!”

鳄鱼说，“

不是我，不可能是我。

我正在学习英语。”

“Uh-oh. More cupcakes are missing.

Come and see!”

哦不！更多的蛋糕不见了。

快来看。

Now there were only four!

Some one had taken two more!

BUT WHO?

现在只剩下四个纸杯蛋糕了！

有人又拿走了2个。

但是是谁？

Pete and Gus did not know what to do!

Just then they found another clue.

皮特猫和古斯鸭嘴兽不知道怎么办！

这个时候他们又发现了另一条线索！

“I bet it was Turtle,” said Pete.

“I know Turtle loves sweets.”

皮特猫说，“我觉得是乌龟。”

乌龟喜欢甜食。

Turtle said,

“It wasn’t me!

It couldn’t be!

I’ve been swimming in the sea!”

乌龟说，“

不是我，不可能是我。

我正在海里游泳。”

“Uh-oh. More cupcakes are missing.

Come and see!”

哦不！更多的蛋糕不见了。

快来看。

What on earth was going on?

All the cupcakes were now GONE!

到底怎么回事？

所有的纸杯蛋糕都不见了。

Pete and Gus did not know what to do!

皮特猫和古斯鸭嘴兽不知道怎么办！

They started looking for another clue.

他们开始寻找新的线索。

They found Grumpy Toad with icing on his face!

Pete and Gus have solved the case.

他们发现皱眉蛙脸上有奶油！

皮特猫和古斯鸭嘴兽找到是谁偷吃了纸杯蛋糕。

“I am so sorry!

IT WAS me!

I could not stop with just one!

I ate and ate ‘til there were none!”

“对不起！

是我偷吃的！

我吃了一个就控制不住了！

直到吃完所有的纸杯蛋糕！”

Everyone agreed—Grumpy Toad would have to miss the fun.

He could not come after what he had done.

大家同意纸杯蛋糕派对不要皱眉蛙参加了。

他这样做朋友们不想要他参加了。

Pete said,” but wait! Grumpy Toad made a mistake.

This is true. Let’s give him a second chance.

That’s what friends do!”

皮特猫说，“等一下！皱眉蛙犯错确实是真的。

不过我们给他一个机会吧！

毕竟我们是朋友。”

Pete told Grumpy Toad they would give him another chance.

He was so excited. He did a happy dance!

皮特猫告诉皱眉蛙大家给他一个改过自新的机会。

皱眉蛙很兴奋，跳起了舞来。

The night of the party was so much fun.

Grumpy Toad brought more than enough

Cupcakes for everyone!

晚上的纸杯蛋糕派对乐趣无穷。

皱眉蛙带来了更多的纸杯蛋糕。
