Description
The estout package provides tools for making regression tables in Stata. The package currently contains the following commands. esttab A command for publication-style regression tables that display nicely in Stata's results window or, optionally, can be exported to various formats such as CSV, RTF, HTML, or LaTeX. estout A generic program for making a table from one or more sets of estimation results. estout is the engine behind esttab. eststo A utility command to store estimation results for later tabulation (as an alternative to official Stata's estimates store). estadd A utility command to add additional results to an existing estimation set (so that they can be tabulated). estpost A utility command to post results from various non-eclass commands as estimation results (so that they can be tabulated). InstallationTo install the estout package on your system, run command ssc install estout, replacein Stata. Thereafter, for example, type help esttabto view the help file of the esttab command. To check for updates, type adoupdate estoutAlternatively, you can download estout from the SSC Archive and add the files to your system manually (see file readme.txt within estout.zip for installation instructions). Note that estout requires Stata 8.2 or newer. estout is also available on GitHub. Also seeFor general information on Stata, see www.stata.com. Furthermore, estout owes much to John Luke Gallup's outreg command, Roy Wada's outreg2 command, and official Stata's estimates table command.
