在SCI期刊投稿论文时，有一份文件对投稿是否成功起着非常重要的作用，那就是Cover Letter（简称CL）即投稿信，其主要向期刊编辑介绍您的研究成果、研究意义以及为何该期刊应接受您的文章。今天小编就和大家介绍下新手怎么写SCI的Cover Letter。

01-Cover Letter简介

Cover Letter，作为投稿时与论文一起发送给编辑的信件，其目的是让编辑在阅读你的论文之前，简单了解你文章的基本情况。

Cover Letter是投稿人给期刊编辑的一封“推销信”，是投稿人展示科研成果的舞台，也是编辑对论文的第一印象，因此，撰写一份“吸睛”的优秀Cover Letter，一定会增加编辑对你的印象分。

02-Cover Letter的内容有哪些

完整的Cover Letter一般包含以下内容：

①期刊编辑的姓名，：建议写成Dear Prof.或者Dr.+主编的名字

② 投稿文章的标题

③投稿文章的类型，例如：letter, communications, article, review还是comments）

④文章简介，包括：(1)研究背景；(2)论文的重要发现；(3)论文可以发表在期刊上的原因；引发读者兴趣的地方，与期刊的契合之处等等。

⑤稿件出版道德规范的免责说明

⑥作者信息，一般为通信作者姓名，所属机构，通信地址，联系电话，邮箱等

⑦推荐审稿人名单（注：目前很多杂志社已经将这一部分挪到了投稿网站系统上，Cover Letter中可以不再列出）

03-Cover letter模板

Dear Editor(s)，(知道编辑名字可以直接Dear Prof.XXX)

My co-authors and I would like to submit the manuscript文章标题"for consideration for publication as a 文章类型in 期刊名称.The paper was co-authored by 列出所有作者.

In this study, we employed 研究手段,to nvestigate 研究内容. There are three main highlights of the findings. First,we provide 第一个创新点.Second,we reveal 第二个创新点.Third,we perform 第三个创新点.Our findings suggest that 研究结果.These findings provide a basis for future research 总结一下.

04-Cover letter注意事项

①投稿信不宜写得过长，尽量保证长度在1~2页以内。

②投稿之前一定要核对主编的姓名和称谓、以及文章题目和期刊名称，张冠李戴是大忌。

③不要夸大其词，影响意义不可胡吹乱造，主编审稿无数，会一眼看出。

④保持简单和谦虚，华丽的辞藻和高端的语句是没有多大意义的，语言简洁通俗内敛反而能让人眼前一亮。

⑤联系人用单位后缀的邮箱，尽量不要用个人邮箱。

⑥注意Cover Letter的语法结构，一定不要有拼写错误，投稿前仔细检查每处细节。
