释义:

Photosensitizer (PS) is usually encapsulated in nanoparticulate formulations (such as liposomes) and also can be chemically conjugated with various nanocarriers to improve their in vivo performance. PSs can be preferentially localized in malignant tissues, and when are activated with appropriate wavelength of light, they can pass on their excess energy to surrounding molecular oxygen, resulting in the generation of Reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as free radicals and singlet oxygen (O2), which are toxic to cells and tissues. PS can be used for Photodynamic therapy (PDT) of cancer.

光敏剂 (PS) 通常被封装在纳米粒子制剂中(如脂质体),也可以与各种纳米载体进行化学偶联,以提高其在体内的性能。PS 可优先定位于恶性组织中,在适当波长的光激活下,可将其多余的能量传递给周围的分子氧,从而产生自由基、单态氧 (O2) 等 Reactive oxygen species (ROS) 活性氧,对细胞和组织具有毒性。PS 可用于癌症的光动力治疗 Photodynamic therapy (PDT)。
