英语写作中“探索”、“研究”explore、investigate、study的用法

一、“探索”、“研究”explore、investigate和study在提到别人的工作时常用，现在有种趋势，explore、investigate比study使用频率要明显高一些，特别是在IT领域。

二、explore、investigate、study可以表达研究探索一个科学问题外，还可用于表达研究探索可行性、可能性、应用前景等。这些单词的用法很简单，注意使用主动语态指明探索的主体，向探索者致敬。例句：

Computer scientists have been exploring/investigating/studying image recognition for half a century. Until recently a breakthrough was achieved using CNN. （计算机科学家探索图像识别长达半个世纪，直到最近使用卷积神经网络实现突破。）
