We have added a new "Use with PS Remote Play" option to the virtual DS4 setup to fix the current Remote Play issue. This option allows you to create a virtual device under the physical USB hub, which emulates a real device for PS Remote Play. The"Create virtual devices under physical hub" option is also available in Preferences.
However, it should be noted that this fix is temporary, as it is challenging to make a virtual gamepad as "real" with purely software methods. Therefore, in the future, you will likely need a physical DS4 controller attached to your PC for PS Remote Play, even if you play with other controllers. We are working on other solutions, so stay tuned.
