It is Poudre School District鈥檚 honor to celebrate the Class of 2023 and their accomplishments at convocation ceremonies this May. The following is a guide to graduation and what you need to know about these events.聽 If you have questions about specific ceremonies, please check with the school.聽 聽 Schedule of Ceremonies Tuesday, May 16 General Education Diploma/Opportunities Unlimited at 6 p.m.,聽Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road, Fort Collins聽聽 Wednesday, May 17Ceremonies May 17 are at the Lincoln Center Performance Hall, 417 W. Magnolia Street, Fort Collins.聽 Poudre School District Global Academy at 10 a.m.聽 Polaris Expeditionary Learning School at 3 p.m.聽 Thursday, May 18Ceremonies May 18 are at the Lincoln Center Performance Hall, 417 W. Magnolia Street, Fort Collins. Poudre Community Academy聽at 10 a.m.聽 Poudre High School International Baccalaureate convocation at 3:30聽 p.m. 聽 Centennial High School聽at 7 p.m.聽 Friday, May 19Ceremonies May 19 are at Colorado State University's Moby Arena, 951 W. Plum Street, Fort Collins.聽 Fort Collins High School at 6:30 p.m.聽聽 Saturday, May 20Ceremonies May 20 are at Colorado State University's Moby Arena,聽951 W. Plum Street, Fort Collins.聽 Poudre High School at 9 a.m. Fossil Ridge High School at 1 p.m.聽 Rocky Mountain High School at 5:30 p.m.聽 Lincoln Center ceremonies - what you need to knowNumber of guests: There are no tickets or limit to the number of guests per graduate who may attend.聽聽 When to arrive: 聽 Schools will communicate with graduates about when to arrive. 聽 Doors open one hour before each ceremony.聽Parking: Parking is free. Carpooling is suggested to reduce the number of vehicles.聽 Interpretation services: Families who need Spanish-speaking or hearing-impaired interpretation services should contact their school to coordinate supports at their graduate鈥檚 ceremony.聽 PSD interpreters will be available for Spanish-speaking families.聽 An ASL interpreter will be at each ceremony.聽聽 聽Moby Arena ceremonies - what you need to knowNumber of guests: There are no tickets or limit to the number of guests per graduate who may attend.聽 When to arrive: 聽 Schools will communicate with graduates about when to arrive. 聽 Doors open one hour before each ceremony; please do not arrive earlier. 聽Parking: 聽 Attendants will direct families to free聽parking in lots to the west and north of Moby. 聽 Carpooling is suggested to reduce the number of vehicles.聽Moby Arena entrance: 聽 Graduates enter through the southern, upper doors. 聽 Guests enter through the northern, upper doors.聽Magnometers: 聽 CSU requires that all guests and employees pass through a metal detector. 聽 Alternative accommodations for screening will be provided for those who need it.聽 Guests who refuse screening will be denied entry.聽 All personal items, including cameras, must go through the metal detectors.聽Clear-bag policy, water bottles and food: 聽 Moby has a clear-bag policy and limits on the size of bags allowed. Read聽about what is and is not permitted. Guests may bring transparent, non-hard water bottles.聽 Moby concessions will not be open. 聽ADA accessibility: 聽 CSU does not have wheelchairs; please bring one if needed. 聽 People may be dropped聽off near the west entrance of Moby before proceeding to parking. 聽 One individual may sit with a guest in ADA-accessible seating, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis.聽Interpretation services:聽 PSD interpreters will be available for Spanish-speaking families. Attendants will direct families where they may sit for these services.聽 Guests who need hearing-impaired interpretation services may sit in Section N on the south side of Moby.聽 聽 |
