Traditional Chinese culture is beginning to capture the attention of 

the world. This is true even as popular culture that has traditionally been 

considered Western begins to spread throughout China Kung Fu. 

Especially, has had a great impact on the millions of people who 

first learned about China through it. From that, they may come to China 

and learn about other aspects of this culture, such as traditional operas 

like the Beijing and Sichuan ones. Asian nations have long known about

Mencius). These books built upon the ideas of an even more ancient 

period codified in the Five Classics. From them, the West learns such 

things as Feng shui and other concepts that are uniquely Chinese. China 

has taken steps to further this spread of its culture by establishing 

Chinese Cultural Centers in such places as the United States and Europe.

原标题：用“地道”的英语传播中国文化，讲好中国故事

怎样向不了解中国文化与历史的外国人讲好中国故事，激发他们对中国的兴趣？在翻译中国传统经典著作的过程中，应如何处理好中西方跨文化传播的差异和细节？8月12日，国家出版基金项目“中华优秀传统文化传承系列”（英文版）在上海书展首发，该系列由上海译文出版社出版发行，由国内资深英文媒体人张慈贇先生所著。发布会吸引了众多大小读者前来，共同聆听张慈贇对中西方文化的深刻理解与阐释。

把最具代表性、典型性和趣味性的故事传播出去

据了解，“中华优秀传统文化传承系列”（英文版）包括《中国神话故事与三十六计》《中国历史著述》《中国成语故事》《中国历代著名绘画作品鉴赏》《中国历史人物》《中国古建筑及其故事》六册。作为国内首套用英文系统介绍中国传统文化的故事读本，该系列精选浩瀚中国文化题材中最具代表性、典型性、趣味性的故事，基本涵盖了中国传统文化的主要内容。

在这六册书中，张慈贇将错综复杂的事件和人物概括成可读性强的故事，其中囊括了探究人类起源和信仰的神话故事、集合古人智慧与谋略的“三十六计”、凝结璀璨文明的历史著述、具有深远影响的历史人物、浓缩汉语精华的成语故事、意蕴悠长的中国画以及巧夺天工的古代建筑。不仅内容通俗易懂，语言朴实流畅，而且用词准确地道，文章一气呵成。

在谈及如何选择这套系列书籍的内容时，张慈贇表示，中国文化浩如烟海，古代著作成千上万，想要把它们浓缩到6册书中，确实是个难题。“我的标准是，选择那些最具代表性、对老百姓最有影响力的故事，以及那些能够形成中国思维方式的故事，这对于不了解中国文化的外国人，有着极大的吸引力。”

例如，张慈贇谈到在《中国历史著述》中，他会讲《本草纲目》《黄帝内经》等巨作，也会讲对中国百姓影响至深的《三字经》《百家姓》；他会向外国读者介绍经常被提及的《茶经》，也会介绍老外很少知道的《酒经》。在《中国古建筑及其故事》中，他提到了在西方知名度很高的榫卯结构，也详细解释了连中国人都不太了解的、西藏建筑中用草制作而成的边玛墙……“在与外国读者的交流中，我发现他们其实很喜欢对中国文化中的一些现象和事实进行深入了解。” 这让张慈贇在传播中国文化时，有意识地把读者当成是对中国文化一无所知的人，把作品当成“十万个为什么”，写清楚、写明白“是什么”“为什么”“怎么样”。

讲好中国故事，绝不能忽视跨文化传播中的差异

随着中国整体实力和国际影响力的不断提升，如何更好地让中华优秀传统文化走出国门，如何向世界讲好中国故事，早已成为社会各界关注的热点。但在张慈贇看来，以往出版的中国传统经典的翻译作品或是西方学者撰写的有关中国文化的著作，大多只注重文本的表述方式，却忽视了中西方跨文化传播中的差异和细节，没有考虑到文化传播者和接收者的心理特征及价值取向。“由此可见，

中国文化走出去的最大障碍，

在于中西方话语语境的差异和民众的参与度不高

。”

面对这一难题，张慈贇尝试在“中华优秀传统文化传承系列”（英文版）中，恰如其分地在微妙的中西方语境中找到平衡点：《清明上河图》与《蒙娜丽莎》、“覆水难收”与英文谚语中的“无需为打翻的牛奶哭泣”……这些颇具新意的对比看似相距甚远，实则为不同文化下的读者开辟了一条新的路径，让人在会心一笑后感到回味无穷。

“如果直接介绍《清明上河图》中有多少房子、车子、人物，外国读者未必会感兴趣，于是我联想到卢浮宫里的《蒙娜丽莎》是世界上吸引人最多的画作，那么《清明上河图》就是‘中国的《蒙娜丽莎》’，人们去博物馆看这幅画需要限时，即使博物馆要关门了，还有人迟迟不愿离开，这就是两幅画作的共通性。又如，在提到‘掩耳盗铃’这个成语时，直接翻译外国读者未必会懂，我就联想到了西方语境中的‘鸵鸟政策’，这样一联系，就很容易理解了。”

而在涉及到对《诗经》、唐诗、宋词等中国传统文体形式的叙述时，张慈贇更是摈弃了繁琐的理论和框架，通过翻译转换与解释，以简洁地道的英文娓娓道来，为中国读者提供了一个讲述中国文化的新视角，也潜移默化地培养了他们讲好中国故事的能力和意愿。

向大众普及中国文化，关键在“讲”而非“译”

发布会上，张慈贇还向从事中西方文化交流工作的人员以及在高校从事翻译工作的师生们建议，向外国人普及中国文化，一定要明确主要的对象是大众读者，而不是研究中国的专家，关键在于“讲”而不在于“译”。

“在这个过程中，需要提前用英语思考，自己先把信息消化吸收，再以英语思维来写作，用英语把中国文化表述出来，而不是将中文直接转换成英语，造成信息的混乱和不流畅。”在处理文化差异时，则需要寻找不同文化的共性所在，或是尽可能找到两种文化间的联系和纽带，摆脱直接翻译的束缚，同时也能够让对方感到更熟悉、更亲切，更乐于理解。在张慈贇看来，只要多多思考，总会发现不同文化共性的一面，“毕竟人类经历的事件一样，感受相似，只是表达方式不同而已”。

此外，张慈贇还提到，在讲好中国故事时，要尽量少提不同的人名，“一个故事中最多只出现三个人，因为老外对中国复杂的人名很难记忆”；对于那些难以翻译的词句，也不要“硬翻”，多思考西方文化中现成的词句，如果意思相似或相近，也可以直接“借用”过来。

“通过这套‘中华优秀传统文化传承系列”（英文版）’，我希望有更多的外国读者对中国文化产生浓厚兴趣，也希望更多中国读者能够领略到原汁原味的传统文化，进而讲好中国故事，助力中国文化走出去。”张慈贇说。

　　在“文化强国”战略的号召下，中华优秀传统文化的价值被进一步挖掘，优秀传统文化的交流传播成为展示中国传统文化魅力、提升中国文化影响力的主要途径。饮食文化、戏曲文化、语言文化、礼仪文化、儒家经典文化、节日民俗文化等，这些集中展现中华优秀传统文化建设高度的文化精髓不仅为新时代中国特色社会主义文化创新提供了优秀素材，在跨文化国际交流愈发频繁的今天，中华优秀传统文化也逐渐成为西方英语国家了解东方国度的一张文化名片，引领我国跨文化交流事业不断取得新进展。文化影响力是国家综合国力的一种侧面体现，也是各国协调合作、建设人类命运共同体的文化基础，在全球化趋势不断加强的当下，本土文化的传播交流受到各国重视。但中国和西方国家毕竟长期处于不同的文化和地理环境之中，形成了各自特征明显不同的语言文化，如何使中华优秀传统文化在英语语言文化环境中产生自适应性，如何构建更加合理有效的中华优秀传统文化传播路径，是摆在广大汉文化学者和文化推广工作管理者面前的重要课题。

　传统饮食文化

在英语国家的传播

　　地理环境、生活方式、文化认知方面的差异，导致中国传统饮食文化与西方国家的饮食文化差异迥然。从食物类型、食物烹饪加工到饮食器具的使用、宴请坐席，中国和西方英语国家之间表现出明显差异。在第一次海外移民潮到来之前，除了封建社会末期部分来华传教士的学习记录和清末掀起的留洋潮，中西方饮食文化基本处于隔绝状态，中国传统饮食文化在西方国家产生的影响极其有限。海外移民作为国家之间人员流动的主要形式之一，相比短期留学、传教、旅游等形式引起的人口流动具有更强的稳定性。19世纪中后期，西方列强用武力打开了中国的大门，中国与西方英语国家的商贸、政治、文化往来逐渐增多，那些与西方国家进行经济贸易、政治文化外交的人员，在异国由零落到会集，逐渐形成了“唐人街”这种海外华人聚居场所。他们作为首批定居海外的中国移民，也将中国的传统饮食文化带到了当地，大量开设的中餐馆解决了海外游子的饮食生活难题，也逐渐成为西方国家透视中国传统饮食文化的一扇窗口。新中国成立后，一部分精英知识分子或经济宽裕的富商移民到英、美等西方国家的各城市，他们对饮食生活品质的讲究，逐渐打破了以“唐人街”为核心的华人聚居生活方式，他们和当地人同住一个社区，也加深了与当地人的文化交流，无形中将中国传统饮食文化以更加彻底、全面、直接的形式向外传播。两种不同的饮食文化相互碰撞，让中国传统饮食文化以更加丰富、系统的形式展现出自身魅力，并对英语国家人民的生活饮食产生了一定影响，让他们对中国传统饮食文化有了更深入的了解和更包容的态度。

　传统戏曲文化

在英语国家的传播

　　与饮食文化这种相对俚俗的生活文化不同，具有鲜明艺术特色的戏曲文化代表了中国传统艺术文化的高峰。即使在语言不通的情况下，具有高度艺术修养的英语艺术人才也能够领略包括京剧在内的戏曲文化的强大魅力。戏曲文化在英语国家的传播方式较为多样，影响较为广泛，西方国家的戏剧创作、影视创作、学术研究都表现出中国优秀传统戏曲文化对它们艺术文化审美的影响。20世纪戏剧家布莱希特就曾以李潜夫的元杂剧《包待制智勘灰阑记》为原型改编出轰动一时的《高加索灰阑记》，深刻印证了中国传统戏曲在西方国家的影响力。在当下西方英语国家的影视制作中，以美国的好莱坞影视为例，从镜头语言到台词、服化道，也有大量中国传统戏曲文化元素蕴含其中，这种文化交融的影视创作手法使影视剧更具审美张力，正是凭借这种对多元文化的包容态度和熟练的融合手法，才使得好莱坞影视作品俘获了众多海外观众的心。

　　新时期，中国传统戏曲文化要进一步提升在英语国家的影响力，首先要解决的是语言问题，戏曲文化推广者要重视戏曲文化经典的译介工作，要在保持戏曲经典艺术特征的基础上，将其按照英语的语言结构和文化思维进行翻译，使以英语为母语者能够充分领略中国戏曲艺术的深厚内涵和文化魅力，为其在不同艺术作品创作中推广传播中国传统戏曲文化奠定基础。其次，互联网时代，传统戏曲文化的推广传播不能仅依靠传统的线下推广方式，要在深入研究戏曲文化艺术特征和互联网媒体传播机制的基础上，充分激发互联网、大数据等新兴技术的信息传播潜力，探索建设创新、高效、多元、层次清晰的推广传播体系，形成传统戏曲文化传播的新模式、新路径、新理念。最后，要构建成体系的传统戏曲文化传播架构。在传播人才方面，不仅要激励国内戏曲文化工作者，也要积极联动海外华人，形成协同的传播格局；不仅要培养汉语系戏曲文化传播者，也要重视英语系的中国传统戏曲文化传播者的培养。在传播内容面，要以经典戏曲剧目为核心，同时要创造新的、展现中国时代社会风貌的剧作，形成丰富多元的内容体系。在传播受众方面，要兼顾普罗大众和专业艺术文化从业者的审美需求，整理创作出面向不同英语国家受众的戏曲剧目，进一步拓展戏曲文化的受众面，提升中国传统戏曲文化的国际文化地位。

　节日民俗文化

在英语国家的传播

　　春节看舞狮花灯、元宵节吃汤圆、清明节缅怀先祖、端午节吃粽子赛龙舟、中秋节赏月吃饼、重阳节登高怀友、除夕吃团圆饭过大年，这些节日活动是中国传统节日民俗文化最生动具体的体现，集中展现了中华优秀传统文化的魅力和人民对时令变化的认识和情感。在国际交流和人口流动愈发频繁的今天，中国传统节日民俗文化以韵味悠长、独树一帜的面貌站上了国际文化舞台，成为对外展现中国文化风貌、民族性格、情感特征的一面镜子。如今，留学、移民、旅游、政治经济文化交流等各种形式的人口流动推动着中国传统节日民俗文化走出国门、走向世界，以英、美为代表的西方英语国家对中国传统节日民俗文化的了解愈发全面、深刻，对其接受度也呈现逐步上升的趋势。英、美等国的许多城市坐标建筑曾在中国重要传统节日期间亮灯，以示庆贺，也会组织举办做汤圆、包饺子、舞狮舞龙等各种中国传统节日活动，表现出西方英语国家对中国传统节日文化的青睐。

　　节日民俗文化的交流不仅在民间层面进行，也逐渐成为中外政治文化外交的媒介，两国领导在节日期间致电庆贺已经成为常态。中国传统节日民俗文化要在西方英语国家更加深入地传播推广，需要广大华人群体共同支持和推动。以在华留学生为例，国内各大高校可以在中国传统节日期间组织有兴趣的留学生参与活动，共同庆祝，引导留学生感受最真切的中国传统节日气氛；还可以开设专门的中国传统文化课程，在节日期间开展相应的实践学习，形成有组织、有系统、理论与实践结合的节日民俗文化课程体系。

　　总体来看，中华优秀传统文化与英语国家之间的交融趋势愈发明显，在语言教育不断发展的背景下，中华优秀传统文化的跨文化传播交流出现了良好契机。中华优秀传统文化跨越语言障碍，走向世界，既是中国文化建设系统工程中的重要一步，也是繁荣世界文化，增进国家之间交流合作，形成人类命运共同体文化共识的基础。对于英语国家来说，也是了解中国文化发展动态、丰富文化视野、提升本国人民文化素养的有效途径。

　　It’s my honor to stand here and make a speech. My topic is “Chinese Tea Culture”.

　　Do you know the name of the three most famous drinks in the world? They are tea , coffee and cocoa. China is the homeland of tea which has become the national drink. In other words, tea is basically spread out from China. Referring to Chinese tea culture, it has several thousand years of history and can be traced back to the ancient times. Then it was flourished in the Tang dynasty and the Song dynasty.

　　At first, our ancients found tea make them excited, but they thought that drinking more would be destructive to the morals. As time went by, tea became popular among likeminded people, Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and cultivation culture. Until Tang Dynasty, tea culture began taking shape. When it came to Song Dynasty, tea culture became thriving. When people migrated, they would offer tea. When people engaged, they would send tea. When people got married, they would settle tea. Tea became an important part in their daily life.

　　In china, the main varieties of tea are green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, scented tea, white tea, yellow tea and dark tea. In the early days, the Chinese boiled their tea leaves with water and other ingredients such as salt and ginger; later they ground the dried leaves to a powder and whipped them up with hot water. It was not until that Ming Dynasty that it became common practice to infuse the loose tea leaves in hot water in teapots, and then to pour the infused liquid into bowls to drink. Nowadays, we make different tea in different particular ways. Over the centuries, China developed an extraordinary tea culture, comparable with the wine culture of the West.

　　Tea not only has a good flavor but also benefit to our body, so it is loved by many people home and abroad. Different kinds of tea have different function which makes a contribution to our health. For example, the national drink of China-green tea, can dispel the effects of alcohol, clear away summer-heat, refresh yourself and whiten your skin. The second largest kind of tea-black tea, can warm your stomach, be good for your heart and make your bones stronger. Dark tea can refresh you in the morning, reduce your blood press and help lose weight. Oolong Tea is good for your body building and dieting. In all, tea have great medicinal value,anti-cancer, lowering blood pressure, improving eyesight and restraining disease, reducing stress and so on.

　　Tea culture and its development reflect not only diet culture, but also Chinese spiritual features.

　　China is a country with a time-honored civilization and a land of ceremony and decorum. Whenever guests visit, it is necessary to make and serve tea to them. Before serving tea, you may ask them for their preferences as to what kind of tea they fancy and serve them the tea in the most appropriate teacups. In the course of serving tea, the host should take careful note of how much water is remaining in the cups and in the kettle. Usually, if the tea is made in a teacup, boiling water should be added after half of the cup has been consumed; and thus the cup is kept filled so that the tea retains the same bouquet and remains pleasantly warm.

　　Tea culture plays an indispensable role in promoting the international cultural exchange between China and other countries, eiching Chinese cultural life and promoting Chinese spiritual civilization construction.

　　In conclusion, tea culture is one of the essences of Chinese culture in the history. The spirit of tea permeates the court and society, into the Chinese poetry, painting,

　　calligraphy, religion, medicine. For thousands of years China has not only accumulated a great deal about tea cultivation, production of material culture, but also accumulated rich spirit of the tea culture, which is unique to China's tea culture.

　　thirdly, “shan zhai” culture strikes the real innovation, and the regular firms are particularly badly hit by the falling sales. in 2014, the output of “shan zhai” cell phones in china amounted to 150 million, merely even to the phones’ total sales in domestic market, which led to the huge losses of many national brands. meanwhile, it strikingly obstacles the creativity and abet the wind of copycat. thus, it gets rise to the market confusion. last but not least, “shan zhai” products damage chinese brand image, and our products impress people a feeling of low price and poor quality. even though, some foreigners tend to feel unreliable to “made in china”, this is a serious impediment to chinese economic development.

　　in a word, we should take a longer term look rather than be keen on gaining petty advantages. what’s more, as far as i am concerned, aggressive innovation is the only way out for chinese products.

我们应当探索以英语学习活动观为指导，挖掘教材中的素材帮助学生学习理解中华传统文化，加强分析和对比中西文化，帮助学生应用实践所学，

讲述和传播中国优秀传统文化

引言

党的十九大报告中指出，在推动文化事业和文化产业上，要加强中外人文交流，以我为主、兼收并蓄，

推进国际传播能力建设，讲好中国故事

，展现真实、立体、全面的中国，提高国家文化软实力。

《普通高中英语课程标准》（2017年版）（以下简称新课标）指出普通高中英语课程具有重要的育人功能，旨在发展学生的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力等英语学科核心素养，落实立德树人根本任务，其中文化意识体现了英语学科核心素养的价值取向。

新课标明确要求教师应注重在发展学生英语语言运用能力的过程中，帮助他们学习、理解和鉴赏中外优秀文化，

培养家国情怀，坚定文化自信

。

作为中外文化碰撞最激烈、对比中外优秀文化最具优势的课程，英语课承担着帮助学生培养文化意识、树立文化自信的重任。近年来，

高考题也逐渐体现出越来越多的中国传统文化元素

。因此，如何借助英语教学传播传统文化、培养学生的文化意识已成为英语教师必须面对的问题。

在英语教学中渗透中华传统文化的挑战

语篇是文化的载体。语篇阅读是学生感知文化知识，认同优秀文化，进而形成文化理解，培养文化意识的主要途径。因此，要想在英语教学中渗透中华传统文化知识，教材必须要提供足够多的输入。

虽然英语教材涉及主题广泛，贴近学生生活，但未能在中华传统文化知识方面提供充足的输入。

以北师大版高中英语教材必修模块一到五为例，其 5 个模块的 75 篇阅读及听力文本中，仅有 8 篇涉及中华传统文化内容，仅占约 10%。

此外，日常教学中还存在着以语言知识输入和语言技能训练为主，对语篇中的文化内涵没有深刻解读或只是强调英语文化，

缺乏中西文化对比和用英语传播中华传统文化的意识

。部分教师虽然有在教学中融入传统文化的意愿，但对如何进行中国文化的融入还是比较迷茫的，苦于缺乏策略方面的指导。

然而，在具体的教学实践层面，笔者发现鲜少有文章提出具体的传统文化教学渗透措施，或者仅仅局限于对教材内容的挖掘，不够全面。笔者认为

，方能实现在英语教学中有效渗透中华传统文化。

文化与英语学习活动

新课标提出了指向学科核心素养发展的英语学习活动观，明确活动是英语学习的基本形式，是学习者学习和尝试运用语言理解与表达意义，培养文化意识，发展多元思维，形成学习能力的主要途径。

英语学习活动的设计应以促进学生英语学科核心素养的发展为目标，围绕主题语境，基于口头和书面等多模态形式的语篇，通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等层层递进的语言、思维、文化相融合的活动，引导学生加深对主题意义的理解；帮助学生在活动中学得语言知识，运用语言技能，阐释中华传统文化内涵，比较文化异同，评析语篇意义，形成正确的价值观念和积极的情感态度，进而尝试

在新的语境中运用所学语言和文化知识分析问题、解决问题，创造性地发表个人观点、情感和态度

在英语教学中渗透传统文化的策略

英语学习活动观强调认知具有层次性，是一个

从学习理解，到应用实践，再到迁移创新的过程

。传统文化的渗透也要遵循这个规律。

英语常规教学中的渗透策略和实践

英语教学中对传统文化的渗透应该从常规课程抓起，以教材为基础。笔者在充分利用教材中已有传统文化素材的基础上，继续补充选修模块中的素材，并积极挖掘教材中的隐性素材，

在教学目标设计上明确体现文化意识，探索不同课型的传统文化切入点和渗透策略

，设计更多的对比中西文化之类的应用实践类活动，提高中华传统文化渗透的效果。

，避免出现只讲授英语文化内涵或缺乏培养中华传统文化意识的现象。

以北师大版教材为例，除了利用好上文中列出的必修前 5 个模块中的传统文化素材之外，还可以补充选修模块中的课文素材， 尤其是 Culture Corner 部分。虽然这部分不是主课文，很多教师会在课时紧张的情况下跳过不讲或简化处理，但是作为教材中最直观体现文化输入的部分，它对传统文化的挖掘意义尤其重大。通过课上认真的阅读，学生才能在英语课堂上得到必要的传统文化知识输入。

应用实践类活动——挖掘教材中的中华传统文化隐性素材，探索巧妙的渗透策略

教材中除了必修和选修模块中的显性素材外，还有很多的隐形素材可以挖掘和利用。教师可以通过

，巧妙地帮助学生提高对传统文化的理解深度和对比分析能力。

①将课文主题与现实生活相结合，巧妙引入中华传统文化

英语教学中传统文化的渗透应该是一个自然流畅的过程，而不能强行引入，显得说教氛围浓厚，教学流程生涩。这就需要教师要多思考，

善于观察和寻找切入点，不动声色地将课文主题与传统文化结合起来

。

英语教材中讨论的往往都是一些全球性的问题和现象，而不是仅局限于西方国家。这就给了教师一个结合实际，巧妙引入传统文化的机会，实现对传统文化的深入理解。例如 Module 8 Unit 22 的环境保护话题就是一个全球性问题，中国同样面临着环境污染的挑战。这时候教师就可以让学生以当下中国的环境问题为例展开讨论，并思考

中国古人有哪些关于环境问题的名言，和古人对人与自然关系的论述

，及其现实意义。

②通过中西方文化对比，自然引入传统文化

在英语教学中渗透传统文化时，不仅需要从多个方面了解西方国家的文化知识和传统习俗以及生活方式，还要

和中国文化进行对比，找出两者之间的异同

。

教材中很多的话题都可以进行中西对比，这更能激发学生学习的兴趣和表达欲望，让学生体验到用英语介绍中国文化的成就感，并加深对该话题认识和理解的全面性及深度。

例如教师在讲授模块一第二单元“英雄”时，就可以对比中西方民族英雄所具有的品质上的异同，在讲授 Module 1 Unit 3 “节日” 时，就可以将第四课的 “圣诞节” 和中国的 “春节” 进行对比学习；在处理 Module 6 Unit 16 “名字背后的故事” 一文时，让学生课下利用互联网对比中英文名字的起源差异。

写作专题课——迁移创新类活动

近年来，高考英语不断加大对传统文化的考察力度， 内容涉及长江、泰山等风景名胜或历史人物等。

将传统文化的讲授与写作教学相结合，既是课标和考试大纲的要求，也是高考这一现实学情的需要。

然而，现阶段英语写作教学中对中华传统文化的要求更多地停留在知识层面和学习内容层面，缺少对优秀传统文化态度层面和价值观层面的要求，未能达到新课标要求的文化意识目标。

传统文化类应用文写作

不能仅仅停留在关于传统文化的话题和词汇，更要发掘传统文化的内涵和精神实质

，例如在一篇介绍春节或中秋节等传统节日的作文中，学生在陈述喜欢这个节日的原因时不能停留在可以得到压岁钱或吃美味食物这个层面，而是要进一步分析这个节日的传统和背后的精神，要能够指出家人团聚才是这些节日经久不衰的根本原因，才算真正理解了传统文化的内涵和真谛。

传统文化写作过程中，因为交际对象是英语国家的学生，所以学生在交际过程中应增强中西文化对比意识，

主动传播中华传统文化

。例如在介绍中国节日或习俗时，可以用西方的节日或习俗进行对比。当对方询问或咨询中国的某一文化现象或想要来旅游时，学生应积极回应，并充满自信地介绍相关文化知识。

在英语教学中，对中华传统文化的渗透

要贯穿始终，落实英语活动观

当然，对传统文化教学的探索还有很长的路要走，本文仅是抛砖引玉，希望能有更多优秀的探索涌现！

The Chinese people, in their drinking of tea, place much significance on the act of "savoring." "Savoring tea" is not only a way to discern good tea from mediocre tea, but also how people take delight in their reverie and in tea-drinking itself. Snatching a bit of leisure from a busy schedule, making a kettle of strong tea, securing a serene space, and serving and drinking tea by yourself can help banish fatigue and frustration, improve your thinking ability and inspire you with enthusiasm. You may also imbibe it slowly in small sips to appreciate the subtle allure of tea-drinking, until your spirits soar up and up into a sublime aesthetic realm. Buildings, gardens, ornaments and tea sets are the elements that form the ambience for savoring tea. A tranquil, refreshing, comfortable and neat locale is certainly desirable for drinking tea. Chinese gardens are well known in the world and beautiful Chinese landscapes are too numerous to count. Teahouses tucked away in gardens and nestled beside the natural beauty of mountains and rivers are enchanting places of repose for people to rest and recreate themselves. China is a country with a time-honored civilization and a land of ceremony and decorum. Whenever guests visit, it is necessary to make and serve tea to them. Before serving tea, you may ask them for their preferences as to what kind of tea they fancy and serve them the tea in the most appropriate teacups. In the course of serving tea, the host should take careful note of how much water is remaining in the cups and in the kettle. Usually, if the tea is made in a teacup, boiling water should be added after half of the cup has been consumed; and thus the cup is kept filled so that the tea retains the same bouquet and remains pleasantly warm throughout the entire course of tea-drinking. Snacks, sweets and other dishes may be served at tea time to complement the fragrance of the tea and to allay one's hunger.。
