最高级加形容词of的用法

the + 最高级， 相当于一个名词，所以可以接of。

the simplest of reasons = the simplest (reason) of reasons = the simplest (one) of reasons 

▲ 形容词最高级具有名词功能，可以作主语、宾语或表语，后跟 of 很自然。例如：
