Contributor Plaque or Certificate:

If you have received a plaque or certificate that includes the words:

"For contributions to the Emmy® award winning achievement"

this is known as a Contributor plaque / certificate. It is given to individuals who contribute toward an Emmy win, but not in a statue-eligible capacity.

Contributor plaques and certificates can not be upgraded toward statuettes.

Replacing Statuettes Over time, the Emmy® statuette may become broken or damaged. Broken statuette cannot be repaired because of the way they are made and the materials used; they cannot be welded. Because of the intricacy of the design and skilled work required to make an Emmy® statuette, it is more cost-effective to replace rather than attempt to refurbish it.
