Coursera助学金申请模版

相信大家都听说过Coursera这个国外的mooc（幕课）平台，现在几乎所有的课程都需要交付一定费用才可以学习，当然，如果不是为了最后的证书，是可以选择旁听的（具体步骤就是在课程选择免费注册之后选择旁听，不过旁听没办法参加测验，也无法取得证书）。不过如果希望能有证书，但是又不想花钱该怎么办呢？其实还有一种办法--助学金申请。今天要分享一份我自己原创的助学金申请模版，我已经成功申请了三门课程。首先我要来告诉大家在哪里申请助学金：

step 1 首先打开 https://www.coursera.org

step 2 在网页右上角，登陆你的coursera账户，或者如果没有账户的话，去注册一个，注册过程很简单我就不细说了。

step 3 在主页左上角点击探索下的门类选择课程，或者在文本框输入你感兴趣的课程主题，即可搜索课程。

step 4 进入一门课程的主页，可以看到免费注册的按钮右边有四个字“有助学金”，点击这里。

step 5 点击之后出现对话框，点击继续申请

step 6 点击后稍等片刻，出现如下页面，首先点击选择前面两个框，然后在下面输入我同意以上条款，之后点击继续

step 7 填写详细信息，具体操作如图所示

教育背景：选择某所大学，表明你是学生

年收入：可以写0也可以写1000-2000美元

工作情况：建议选择学生或者兼职

您有能力支付多少学费？一定要写0

step 8 以上就是一般步骤，接下来是本篇文章的重头戏，下面空着的两个部分，第一个是“您为何申请助学金？”，第二个是“学习此课程将如何帮助您实现职业目标？”

下面我在这里分享一套我写的这两部分内容，这部分需要英文书写，字数不少于150词。

我在这里申请的是Gamification这门课，大家可以根据课程不同以及自己的情况做出灵活调整，尤其是不同的课程一定要做出修改，不可以生搬硬套。还有一点需要注意，我在模板中提到自己有little income，所以在上面一栏要填写一点收入，如果写0的话，就可以说自己have no income。

您为何申请助学金？

I am a student at Taiyuan Normal University in China. I was born in a small village in Shanxi Province, and my parents are all peasants. I'm so sorry that I can't afford this course, for my parents spend all their money on me and my siblings' education. For now, I am only a college student, I have to study hard so I don't have much time for part-time jobs. The little income of myself could only support my living expenses. 

I think Coursera is a great platform for poor people like me to study advanced knowledge and skills from top universities in the world. 

I request Coursera for financial aid, and I promise to finish this course on time and do my best during my study here. I really want to have a chance to study this course, and I would be appreciated it if you could give me a chance. Thank you for your precious time and patience. I am looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.

学习此课程将如何帮助您实现职业目标？

I am a student in Taiyuan Normal University in China. I'm so sorry that I'm too poor to afford this course. Nowadays, design and games play a significant role in our daily life, and it is also very important to have some knowledge in these fields. My teacher and my friends highly recommend this course to me. This course will help me gain more knowledge and skills, also help me broaden my vision. Through this course, I will understand more how the mechanism of games used in daily life. 

I think nowadays everybody should know or learn some knowledge about design and products, and this course is truly the right choice to study them. I believe if I could study this course, it would be very helpful for me to improve my ability to take advantages of one thing and use its features to make another thing better, specifically, how to apply the features of the game to daily use. It is a kind of ability that I could use at my work and life very often.

step 9 这里的又一个选项“您是否考虑使用低息贷款支付课程费用？”直接选择“是”就可以，因为coursera不会让你这么做的，省去了填写这一步理由的步骤。

最后点击提交申请就可以啦！现在提交申请之后会有15天进行审核，你可以选择先旁听课程，，等审核通过后选择调整课程等deadline，也可以等审核通过之后，你的账户就会自动注册这门课程，这样就可以愉快的开始学习啦！
