What Is a PNG Color Inverter? This browser-based utility inverts colors in PNG images. It replaces the color of each pixel with the opposite color in the color space – white turns black (and the other way around – black turns white), yellow turns blue, purple turns green, and cyan turns red. An inverted PNG doesn't lose its sharpness, details, or color richness but it shows the image in a completely different way. You can see inverted photos in real life on old photographic films and photo negatives. Photo negatives are created on transparent plastic film and they are intermediate images in photo processing. To obtain a positive (normal image) from a negative, it is necessary to apply a color inversion algorithm. We implemented such an algorithm, and with this tool, you can create photo negatives as well as turn negatives into positives. You can invert any rectangular region of a PNG photo, including the full dimensions of the photo. The rectangular area of the inversion can be selected in the preview with your mouse interactively or set in the options using x, y, width, and height coordinates. To make the entire image inverted, you can simply leave empty the option fields x, y, width, and height. Png-abulous!
