4. We’d be pleased/delighted/very happy to have you over for dinner tonight

答应别人的邀约：

1. Thank you! I’d love to.

2. Thank you! I’d be delighted to. What time should I be there?

3. Yes, thank you. That would be wonderful/great.

4. Oh certainly! Thank you.

也可说”Oh Sure! Thank you.”更为简洁有力。

婉拒别人的邀请：

1. I’d love to, but I’m afraid I’m busy tonight.

2. I’m terribly sorry. I have other plans.

这个拒绝的方法较能表达你深刻的歉意与惋惜。

3. Thanks for asking, but I’m busy.

拒绝之前先感谢对方体贴地想到你，这里可把”asking”替换成”inviting”。
