Write to the airline and explain what happened. Describe your suitcase and tell them what was in it. Find out what they are going to do about it.

Dear Sir or Madam,

亲爱的先生/女士：

I was one of the passengers who took the flight from Narita, Tokyo to Heathrow, London on 7th September. Unfortunately, my suitcase was lost and I could not find it after I arrived at the Heathrow Airport. Although I searched it for an hour and afterwards lodged a written complaint to the luggage claim department, I have not been contacted yet by anyone regarding the whereabouts of the luggage.

我是一名九月七号曾搭乘从成田机场飞往伦敦希斯罗机场的乘客。不幸的是，我的行李箱在希斯罗机场丢失了，而且我还找不到。虽然我已经搜寻了大概一个小时，并且也给行李丢失招领处写了一封投诉信，但是到目前为止还是没有人来联系我和我说明行李箱的下落。

My suitcase is Grey Samsonite and approximately 10×95 cm in diameter. It has 3 stickers on one side and a heart-shaped sticker on the other side. The front of the luggage has a small scratch near the main zipper. This translation is from Laokaoya website. My initials “DF” are also written on the front. It contains some clothing items, a few books and a copy of my university thesis, which I urgently require.
