Definition : Unreal conditionals are used to express a condition or situation that is Unreal or imaginary or not likely to happen. We can use unreal conditionals for the present , past or future time. 2. 条件从句和主句中的虚拟语气: TASK1 1)If I were a teacher, I would tell my students to watch some English films and TV programs. 2) If it often rained, the crops would grow better. 3) If there were no subjunctive, English would be much easier. Conclusion 1: We use unreal conditionals to state an imaginary present condition. We usually form unreal conditionals like this: If...was/were/did..., ...would/should/could/might do... TASK2 4) If you had joint the chat room ten minutes ago, you would have known what we were talking about. 5) If the man had pointed with his first finger when he was in brunei, everyone would have thought that he was very rude. Conclusion2: We use unreal conditions to refer to an imaginary past action like this: If...had been/done..., ...would /should/could/might have done... TASK3 6) If I had time tomorrow, I would certainly help you. 7) If I were to fail my maths test, I would have to take it again at the end of the term. 8) If he should come tomorrow, I could talk to him about it , Conclusion 3: We use unreal future conditionals to talk about an imaginary future situation like this: If...was/were/did..., ...would/should/could/might do... If… were to do..., …would/should/could/might do... If… should do..., …would/should/could/might do... 时间
