Gaming Mode in keyboards primarily disables the Windows Key function to avoid accidental usage. Furthermore, it can maximize the effect of anti-ghosting on your keyboard. You can also disable the "Alt + Tab" and "Alt + F4" key functions on the Gaming Mode settings in Razer Synapse 2.0 and 3. An indicator will light up when Gaming Mode is active.

Enable Gaming Mode using key combinations:

For full-sized and tenkeyless keyboards: Press fn + F10.

For mini or 60% and 65% smaller keyboards: Press fn + U.

Activate Gaming Mode in Razer Synapse 3:

Open Synapse 3. Go to "KEYBOARD" > "CUSTOMIZE".

Under "GAMING MODE", click on the dropdown menu and select "Always on".

To access disabled keys, bind specific key combinations using Synapse 3. Follow the steps below:

Create a macro. See How do I create or delete macros on Razer Synapse 3 for more details.

Bind the new macro to a selected key. Use Hypershift to prevent accidental keypress.

Assign a Hypershift key.

Activate Gaming Mode in Synapse 2.0:

Open Synapse 2.0. Go to "KEYBOARD" > "GAMING MODE".

Toggle the Gaming Mode switch on.
