在实际生活中，并没有区分太清楚，英国人用Movie的也大有人在，Film在美国也经常被指电影。

这2个单词的主要区别在于：凡是严肃一些的关于电影的表达用Film，比如： 电影产业：Film industry 电影史：Film history 戛纳电影节： Cannes International Film Festival，而Movie则偏重于指电影本身，一般会用在和朋友聊天的时候。
