Samsung Galaxy S23: Everything you need to know
![]() From the S23 Ultra protective glass, we can find that the area of the S23 Ultra ultrasonic fingerprint sensor remains the same, which is consistent with the S22 Ultra.pic.twitter.com/OHeWgznWEL— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) November 18, 2022 Cameras Cameras are another major selling point on Galaxy phones, and we’re seeing rumours being widely reported that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with one of Samsung’s new 200Mp sensors for its main camera. Samsung has already launched three 200Mp sensors, the HP1, HP3, and HPX, but none have yet appeared in any of the company’s devices – though they have now been seen in the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Xiaomi 12T Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro. First up, here’s how the regular models have lined up, starting with the most recent S22: Samsung Galaxy S22 – $799/£769Samsung Galaxy S21 – $799/£769Samsung Galaxy S20 – $999/£899 Then there’s the Plus models: Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus – $999/£949Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus – $999/£949Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus – $1,199/£999 And finally the Ultras, where we see a little more variation: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra – $1,199/£1,149Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra – $1,299/£1,149Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra – $1,399/£1,199 The last couple of years have seen Samsung settle on pricing structures for the range, so we don’t think there will be much change to this with the Galaxy S23 range – though worldwide inflation is likely to push prices up at least a little. One leaker has reported on Korean pricing allegedly sourced from carrier SKTelecom, which works out to the equivalent of a $50-130 price increase for each model compared to the S22 equivalents.
