my cousin gave me some edible wild herbs called shanmazhecai or shancai, I cut them into pieces to make steamed stuffed buns.
First step is making dough. get three bowls of flour ready to put about 1/3 bag of yeast powder into flour( maybe i put 1/2 of it) step 2: seal the bag and preserve the rest part of yeast power well
3: mix them up then make dough with warm water 5: knead dough the dough is ok now
cover it
2nd step: make the stuffing first heat up the herb in hot water cut the meat ,green onion and ginger into pieces cut the herbs into pieces, too, and mix them up add some salt ,oil and sauce. the brand of jiajia --"weijixian" is my favorite
step 3: after three hours, the fermented dough has become bulgy. shape the dough into small buns roll out dough wrappings
fill in stuffing
steam them for 20 minutes after the water boils |
