被消费主义浪潮所裹挟的个人,总是错误地把提高消费水平视为追求美好生活的根本方式,进而导致消费总体呈非理性趋势。消费主义最常用的手段是用文案伪造一系列文化,用情感绑定消费者,甚至将人的价值与商品挂钩。我们将“万物皆可消费主义”作为毕设主题,反应当下消费主义是如何让人陷入其精心铺设的陷阱。

新时代的欲望泡沫商店免不了人工智能AI技术的介入,在机器学习的技术辅助下,任何不起眼的物品都可以被识别并匹配相应的消费主义话术,自动生成适应各种物品比例大小的随机海报。我们令新技术成为编织精致幻想的消费文化生成机器,也令所有参与者体验成为虚拟的陷阱制作者时,获得如何在被消费文化勾勒的现实世界中如何自处的启悟。

Individuals engulfed by the wave of consumerism always mistakenly regard raising the level of consumption as the fundamental way to pursue a better life, which leads to an irrational trend in consumption as a whole. The most commonly used method of consumerism is to forge a series of cultures with copywriting, bind consumers with emotions, and even link human values with commodities. We take "Consumerism for all things" as the final theme, reflecting how consumerism now makes people fall into its carefully-laid trap.

The desire bubble store in the new era cannot avoid the intervention of artificial intelligence technology. With the aid of machine learning technology, any inconspicuous item can be identified and matched with the corresponding consumerism, and it will automatically generate a random-size poster that adapts to the proportions of various items. We make new technology a consumer culture generation machine that weaves exquisite fantasy, and also enable all participants to experience becoming a virtual trap maker and gain an enlightenment on how to deal with themselves in the real world outlined by consumer culture.

花开岁朝·中国年主题设计

Flower· New Year to Flourish Theme Design

无花不成年,对于花在新年中的运用一直是件极其富有仪式感的事情。有以吉祥之花开笔的岁朝图,也有形态多样的剪纸窗花,更有除旧迎新的绚烂烟花。设计主题围绕新年的“花”,用极具现代感的动态图形的设计形式来表现属于新时代的“岁朝图”。以吉祥如意寓意的水仙花、鸿运当头寓意的蝴蝶兰、百事如意寓意的百合花、蒸蒸日上寓意的烟花来表达人们亘古不变对美好生活的向往。衍生品的设计上,根据岁朝图中寓意平安的花瓶,重新设计了更具现代的花瓶;并搭配鲜花赠予亲朋好友,延续了岁朝图的初衷。除此之外,动态交互体验、动态壁纸,以及微信红包封面的加入,让岁朝图有了新时代的“新玩法”。

It's not a good new year without flowers. The use of flowers in the new year has always been a very ritualistic agenda. Since ancient times, the Chinese people have been keen on celebrating the Chinese lunar new year with flowers. Around the “flower” of the new year, the design uses modern dynamic graphics to show the new-ear version of “Sui Zho Tu” (New Year Drawing). There are daffodils representing auspiciousness, moth orchids representing luck, lilies representing that everything goes well, and fireworks representing flourishment, to express people’s eternal yearning for a better life. As for the design of derivatives, a modern vase is designed according to the vase meaning safeness on “Sui Zhao Tu”, Flowers are prepared to give friends and relatives, which is the continuation of the original intention of Sui Zhao Tu. In addition, with the dynamic interactive device and wallpaper, as well as Wechat Lucky Money, the new “Sui Zhao Tu” is endued with new vitality.

“这里汇聚了一群热爱设计生活的年轻人,他们用印刷、图像、视频等媒介链接艺术与品牌,并创造出一个多元化的视觉交流社群空间。”设计灵感来自该工作室上述的理念,并以此来指导本次的品牌形象塑造,本次创作是想通过动态将印刷的各个特性表达出来,用色谱进行串联,将抽象化的语言融入到印刷的过程中。

“A group of young people who love design gather here. They use print, image, video and other media to link art and brand, and create a diversified visual communication community space.” The design is inspired by the above ideas of the studio, which is used to guide the brand image building. This creation is to dynamically express the various characteristics of printing, connect them with chromatography, and integrate the abstract language into the printing process.

该项目通过对中国互联网上粉丝文化的可视化,旨在帮助公众了解粉丝文化和行为。创作者希望通过一个有趣的互动网站,将中国目前的“粉丝劳工”重新想象成荒谬的网络工厂世界。用故事化的网页形式,插图,创意编程和叙事性采访相结合,展现粉丝的劳动流程,劳动内容,和他们的动机,以此来反刍资本对粉丝的利用。粉丝文化并非小众文化,几乎所有中国网民都亲眼目睹了粉丝们的“工作”:控制评论,买奶票,花大量时间去投票等。粉丝们占据了社交媒体的热门话题,跟随资本的指示,大量生产无意义的数据和图像。为造福偶像而在互联网上操纵数据的行为,已经影响了公众利益,且造成粮食浪费。该项目不仅是对于粉丝这个影响到大众的互联网群体的反思,也是对于当下数据劳工的反思。以传播学角度分析,“数据劳工”主要指将信息知识消费转化成额外的生产性活动而遭到剥削的劳动者。而“粉丝”这类群体只是万千数据劳工的缩影,我们每个人的每次点赞,转发都与数据劳动息息相关。该项目使用了视觉研究的方法,通过多维度再现粉丝们无意识的互联网视觉语言,尽可能地还原真实的粉丝世界,反思资本与劳动之间的关系。

This project captures the unconsciously vernacular visual language of fans, embracing their daily activities and digital production with illustrative and graphic practice. Users can freely and boldly participate in production of fans by finishing different online “tasks”. In particular, the time fans spent on social media, the comments they made, the “likes” they gave, the tickets they bought, all become a kind of working process. Through the reorganization of these texts and pictures, this project hopes to shift the narrative of visual communication design toward the lively Chinese fan labor culture, so fans’ lifestyle and ideology can be reflected to the greatest extent. To toe the lines between graphic design and interactive design, the project’s intention is to help public understand the growing fandom culture and behavior today through the visualization of Chinese fandom culture. Rather than being a voice of critical judgement toward these fans, this passage, it aims to regurgitate the internal exploitation of capital towards fan labor. The creator wants to tackle this issue by reimagining the current fan labor in China as an absurd world of online factory through an interesting, interactive website.
