新区概况

青岛是联合国教科文组织第九个、中国首个“世界电影之都”。新区以青岛东方影都为龙头，形成“东有灵山湾，西有藏马山”辐射青岛全域的影视产业发展布局，成为山东省“1+N”影视基地（园区）布局的核心区，诞生《流浪地球》系列、《封神三部曲》等一批优质影视作品，电影票房总产出超308亿元。先后举办“金凤凰奖”中国电影表演艺术学会奖颁奖活动、首届上合组织国家电影节、青岛影视博览会、中国网络视听精品创作峰会等重大影视文化活动，影视之都名片熠熠生辉。

The New Area has successively held significant film and cultural events including the award cerermory for the Golden Phoenix Awards (or China Film Society of Performing Art Award), the first SCO Film Festival, the Qingdao Film and Television Expo, and China Netcasting Creation Summit, making the calling card af Metropolis of Film shine brightly.

青岛国际啤酒节是青岛最张扬的激情，是展示青岛城市特质、魅力与国际影响力的盛大节日。自2015年落户新区以来，已连续成功举办九届，彰显了“一样的啤酒节、不一样的啤酒文化”，提升了青岛和新区的知名度、美誉度和影响力。后续新区将全面提升金沙滩啤酒城常态化运营水平，有效聚人气、汇商气，打造“永不落幕的啤酒节”。

Qingdao International Beer Festival is a grand event that gives full play to Qingdao's passion, and showcases the unique characteristics, charm, and international influence of the city. Qingdao International Beer Festival has successfully held nine consecutive sessions in the New Area since 2015, demonstrating "the same beer festival, different beer culture", enhancing the visibility, reputation, and influence of Qingdao and the New Area. Follow-up efforts will be redoubled to advance the regular operation of the Golden Beach Beer City, effectively creating a denser commercial atmosphere and attracting more visitors to create an "everlasting beer festival".

青岛又名“琴岛”，山海神韵赋音乐之美。星光岛大剧院光彩夺目、熠熠生辉，凤凰之声大剧院如凤凰起舞，引吭高歌。汇聚世界级音乐盛事——青岛凤凰音乐节、欧盟青年音乐节、德国门德尔松钢琴国际比赛等，音乐之美流淌在新区的每个角落。新区加快发展音乐培训、音乐制作等音乐产业，争创国家级音乐产业基地。

Qingdao is also called "Qindao", as the romantic charm of the mountains and the sea shows the beauty of music. The Grand Theater on the Starry Island is magnificent, and the Sound of the Phoenix Grand Theater looks like a dancing phoenix singing happily. A series of world-class musical events have been hosted, including Qingdao Phoenix Music Festival, Eurochestries Festival and German Mendelssohn international Piano Competition, making the New Area immersed in enchanting melodies. The development of music industry such as music training and music production is accelerated in the New Area to build a state-level music industry base.

青岛西海岸新区先后高水平举办博鳌亚洲论坛全球健康论坛大会、东亚海洋合作平台青岛论坛、正和岛创变者年会、亚洲农业与食品产业博览会、中国国际农业机械展览会等国内外知名会展活动，是国际大型会展活动的重要举办地。中铁·青岛世界博览城可承接20万平米超大型展会，是东北亚区域展馆规模、承载能力、配套功能、科技水平、绿色节能环保首屈一指的滨海国际博览城。新区具有会议接待功能的星级或品牌酒店30家，酒店会议设施面积超12万平米，日接待旅客住宿能力超8万人次。

Qingdao West Coast New Area, an important host place for large-scale international conventions and exhibitions, has successively held well-known domestic and international exhibitions with high standards such as Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum, Z.H. Island Changemaker Summit, Asian Agriculture and Food Industry Expo and China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition. Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition, which can undertake exhibitions as large as 200,000 square meters, is a top-notch coastal international exposition center with complete facilities in terms of the scale, capacity, technological level, energy conservation, and ecological friendliness in Northeast Asia. Moreover, 30 star-rated or brand hotels with conference and reception functions in the New Area provide 120,000-square-meter convention facilities, and are capable of accommodating over 80,000 quests per day.
