Helen Keller was born in the US in 1880.She had an illness at nineteen months old.After that she couldn't see or hear.

海伦?凯勒在1880年出生于美国。在19个月大的时候，她生了一场病。在那之后，她看不见也听不见。

But she learnt to read, write and speak.It was difficult, but Helen was clever and she tried hard.

但是她学会了阅读、写字和讲话。那很困难，但是海伦很聪明并且她努力尝试。

Helen travelled round the world and told her story.She also wrote books and helped blind people.

She was famous all over the world.She is a model for blind people,and also for you and me.

Helen couldn't see.
