分词构成的复合形容词我的学习笔记，大家看看有什么问题？

分词构成的复合形容词：

（1）名词+及物动词的现在分词

English-speaking countries说英语的国家

整个短语相当于：people in these countries speak English。（people in these）countries作speak的主语。English作speak的宾语。

ice-thawing visit 融冰之旅

整个短语相当于：The visit can thaw the ice. visit作thaw的主语，ice作thaw的宾语

caffeine-containing drinks 注：caffeine /ˈkæˌfiːn/n咖啡因

整个短语相当于：The drinks contain caffeine. drinks作contain的主语，caffeine作contain的宾语。

peace-keeping force=force keeps peace维和部队

freedom-loving people=people love freedom热爱自由的民族

a man-eating beast=a beast eats a man吃人的野兽

（2）名词+不及物动词的现在分词

a sky- flying kite = a kite flies in the sky。.注： kite /ˈkaɪt/n风筝

kite作fly的主语，in the sky状语修饰fly

a night-walking animal =an animal walks at night。

“名词+及物动词的现在分词”中，存在动宾关系；“名词+不及物动词的现在分词”中，由于分词是不及物动词，所以不能带有宾语，因而只存在动状关系。

（3）名词+系动词的现在分词

fossil- appearing objects 类似于化石的物体

= The objects appear to be fossils.

objects作appear的主语，fossil作系动词appear的表语。

（4）形容词+系动词的现在分词

a good-looking man= A man looks good.

man作look的主语，good作系动词look的表语。

an easy-going person=a person goes easy。性格随和的人

the nice-sounding music=the music sounds nice。

（5）副词+不及物动词的现在分词

far-reaching events=events reach far

events作reach的主语，副词far作reach的状语

hard-working people=people work hard

a far-seeing politician=a politician see far

（6）名词+及物动词的过去分词

a U. S. -led war=The U. S. leads the war.或者The war is led by the U. S.

war作lead的宾语，by the U. S. 作状语，修饰led

man-made fibers=The fibers are made by man 注：fibern纤维

water-covered lands=lands are covered with water

（7）形容词+及物动词的过去分词

a green-painted house=(Someone) painted the house green.或者The house was painted green. house作paint的宾语，green是宾语补足语，补充说明house。

a ready-made dress=made a dress ready

（8）副词+及物动词的过去分词

newly elected Chinese Premier=(People) elected the Chinese Premier newly.

Premier作elect的宾语，newly作状语，修饰elected。

a newly-built library= built a library newly
