菜是“vegetable”，鸟是“bird”，菜鸟不是“vegetable bird”！

菜鸟里的“菜”不是蔬菜的“菜”。菜鸟是个网络用词，指新手，如某人刚加入某团队，或刚加入组织等，需要一个过程来适应环境。菜鸟的近义词有新手，新人，新生，新兵等等。

一、newcomer

newcomer指新到一个地方或开始了一项新活动的人，可翻译为新来者，新移民。它的复数是newcomers。
