I loved this place, my biggest regret is not staying for longer. Staff really takes care of the customers. We also hired a driver for a day that they recommended and he was very great too. They can also help you to organise your own itineraries, so definitely talk with them. My biggest concern was the tents, since they stay the whole day in the sun. But they actually don't get too hot and at night fan is fully sufficient to sleep comfortably. We also asked for an additional duvet as we found the bed a bit too hard and it made our sleep perfect. Actually, I don't remember last time I slept so well. Showers are communal, but separated in cubicals, with freshly washed towels & slippers, shampoo and shower gel provided. Overall, this place is one of the highlights of visiting Gansu.
