报告摘要：In this talk, I will introduce some recent development of the theory of essentially normal Hilbert modules, which is closed related to the distinguished varieties. As an application, we will consider the finite generatedness of submodules. The Hilbert-Schmidtness of submodules will also be involved. The talk is based on the joint work with C. Zhao.

报告人简介：王鹏辉，山东大学教授，博士生导师，长期从事泛函分析以及泛函分析在其他数学分支中应用的研究。王鹏辉教授先后主持1项国家自然科学基金青年基金项目、2项国家自然科学基金面上项目，在Adv Math，JFA，Math Z等杂志上发表论文多篇。
