　　《中国民居（英文版）》深入浅出地记述了各类传统民居的成因、建筑特色以及流传价值，其中亦点缀有与相关的历史传说与民间故事，清晰地勾勒出一幅生动鲜活的中国民居画卷。　　Shan DEQI，born in 1937 in Anhui Province，graduated from the Civil Engineering and Ar-chitecture Department of Tsinghua University in 1960 and majored in architecture.He was formerly Director of “the Teaching and Re-search Section for Architectural Design”of the Architecture Department of Tsinghua Univer-sity，and the Vice-President of the School of Architec-ture of Tsinghua University as well as tutor of dooctoral graduate students，Member of the Academic Committee，and Vice Director of the Academic Degree Committee.
