Freight trains foster ties beween GBA and BRI nations
The first GBA Sino-Europe freight train was launched Aug. 18, 2020.
Over the past three years, the operator has handled a total of 524 trains carrying over 360,000 tons of freight to 41 Asian and European countries. The Sino-Europe trains have become a major means of transportation for trade between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and countries under the Belt and Road Initiative.
