2. assist

当名词讲时，有“帮助、协助、助攻”等意思，当动词时有“帮助、协助、出席”等意思。

1). assist someone with something

The teacher assists the children with their tasks.

老师帮助孩子们完成任务。

2). assist someone in doing something

He asked us to assist him in carrying through their plan.

他要我们帮助他实施他们的计划。

3. aid

有帮助、援助等意思，短语：first aid 急救。

He decided to seek the aid of a psychiatrist.

他决定寻求心理医生的帮助。

4. help out

(因人手不够或别人缺乏某物而)分担…工作, 帮助…摆脱困难

We are trying to help out by delivering flour to bakeries.

我们正在设法给面包店送去面粉, 帮助它们度过难关。

在别人遇到困难的时候，我们主动提供帮助的时候，除了说 “Can I help you?”，还有其他的表达吗？
