VD53 Variations:

You may see this movement listed as the VD53, VD53A, VD53B, or VD53C. VD53 and VD53A are the same, this is the first version. The trailing letters A, B, and C represent the caliber evolution. As of June 05, 2018, official technical documents reference caliber VD53C.

VD53C11 – Date at 3:00 VD53C144 -Date at 4:00 VD53C344 -Date at 4:00 VD53C14 – Date at 4:30 VD53C12 – Date at 6:00 VD53C19M – Date at 12:00

The date at 4:30 is the most common version of the VD53 because it is the only one that is a consistently stocked movement and part of ordinary production. The other versions are order based production.
