过去的几周五月花带大家梳理了小作文数字相关的各种表达，把它们掌握熟小作文就成功了一半，希望各位同学写小作文时不仅仅只是罗列数据，要学会对比分析，这样分数才能提升。本周五月花雅思不讲烧脑的数字，关于数据的上升和下降相关表达我们以前有讲过，但描述时为了更精确，还需要考生会写升降的程度，因此考生需要学会正确使用描述程度的形容词和副词，大家可以分成四类来记。

使用原则：一定要注意词性，形容词+名词（放在名词前），动词+副词，两种都要掌握，可以在描述中交替使用，丰富表达，请不要犯词性语法错。

应用：

例 1：这项花费在1991年下降到总花费的5%，但在2001年又急剧上升

This cost decreased to only 5% of total expenditure in 1991 but rose substantially/sharply in 2001.【动词+副词】

例 2：最后，在英国出现巨幅增长，从150万欧元涨到2000万欧元。

Finally,in the UK there was an enormous/significant increase, from 1.5 to 20 million euros.【形容词+名词】

例 3：在住房上的花费猛烈下降，从1950年的72.1%降到2010年的22%。

There was a spectacular/dramatic decrease in money spent in housing, from 72.1% in 1950 to 22% in 2010. 【形容词+名词】

应用：

例 1：尽管一开始有些波动，从1995年起有了稳定增长。预计这个会持续下去，并在2030年达到47q.

Despite some initial fluctuation, from 1995 there was a steady increase.This is expected to continue,reaching 47q in 2030.

例 2：通过看电视学英语的人持续增长，从1999年到2005年每年增长10%。

The people who learnt English by TV programs rose consistently, and this percentage grew by 10% every year between1999 and 2005.

或者Therewas a consistent rise in the people who learnt English by TV programs from 1999 to 2005, showing an increase of 10% per year.

例 3：第一个图显示随年龄增长为职业学习的人逐渐下降，这个比例每十岁下降10%-20%。

The first graph shows that there is a gradual decrease in study for career reasons with age. This percentage gradually declines by 10-20% every decade.

应用：

例 1：到2010年选择住在caravan的人轻微上涨了5%。

The people who chose to live in the caravan rose slightly/marginally in 2010, showing an increase of 5%.

例 2：1974到1986年，水路运输的货物量有轻微上涨，从4亿吨涨到8.9亿吨。

The number of goods transported by water saw a gentle rise from around 40 to 59 million tones, between 1974 and 1986.
