Announcement on 2019 RSI-MIT Chinese Students Selection Process

1. 今年RSI仅开放MIT校区，国际学生申请截止时间为2019年3月15日。

This year, RSI is held only at the MIT campus, and the application deadline for international students is March 15, 2019.

2. Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) 委托普顿承办2019年RSI-MIT中国大陆学生招生初选工作。为此，普顿将成立由科学家、教授、教育家等组成的2019 RSI-MIT中国学生评审委员会（RSCC）负责筛选中国籍学生，筛选将完全依据学生申请材料择优录取。

CEE asked PrincetoNow to conduct initial screening of Chinese mainland students who apply to the 2019 RSI-MIT. To this end, PrincetoNow will form a 2019 RSI-MIT Selection Committee for Chinese mainland students (RSCC) which consists of scientists, professors, and educators. RSCC will be responsible for the selection process based solely on the merits of the applicants.

3. RSI-MIT的中国大陆申请者不要求是普顿教育学员，进一步说，申请者是否是普顿教育学员与最终被推荐与否没有任何关系。

Chinese mainland students applicant to RSI-MIT are NOT required to sign with PrincetoNow for college counseling services. Further, whether applicants are clients of PrincetoNow or not has NO bearing or impact on whether they are ultimately recommended or not.

4. 所有的申请均通过CEE官方SlideRoom提交，点击阅读原文进入国际生申请入口。请注意：普顿不代收任何形式的申请。

All applications are submitted through the SlideRoom at CEE’s website. You may click “read more” below to access the SlideRoom. Note: PrincetoNow will not accept any form of application materials.

5. 筛选流程：

Selection Procedure and Process:

- 评审委员会根据申请者材料初步筛选15位学生进行面试。根据面试情况，评审委员会最终会推荐5位中国大陆学生优秀申请者给CEE。

RSCC will conduct initial screening of the applicants and select 15 students for interviews. After interviews, RSCC will recommend 5 finalists to CEE.

- CEE的RSI终审委员会将在推荐名单中最终录取2位中国大陆学生进入2019年RSI-MIT。录取学生须有组织或公司来资助，学生或家长自己付费将不被接受。

The RSI Selection Committee at CEE will select two (2) Chinese students from the 5 finalists for admission to 2019 RSI-MIT. The students must have an organization or corporation fund them. No funding from student or parent will be accepted.

6. 普顿教育及CEE保留最终解释权。

PrincetoNow and CEE reserve the right of final interpretation.
