My on-premise environment has one sharepoint server 2016 to hold company internal web apps and collaboration sites, every folks are using mysite and onedrive for business feature of sharepoint server 2016 to sync and store own files to sharepoint. For folks working on external network, we use ADFS with web application proxy server to authenticate their logon requests. Here the issue comes, the external user's authentication expires in every 1 and a half hours = 90 mins. Then the onedrive for business app shows a mark of enter credentials for user's authenticating matter. In our environment, all users' computers had joined the domain network and set all the sharepoint internal websites in the 'local intranet' and 'trusted sites' of Internet Explorer. But the situation is not changed.
