"It is hard to turn," said Chip, "if you go too fast."

“如果跑得 太 快，很难 拐弯。” Chip 说。

这里我想讲2个词，turn 在这里是 “转弯，拐弯” 的意思

有时候他还能解释为 “轮到”，我们昨天说到过的

It's Dad's turn.

It's my turn.

这些就是解释为 “轮到”

之前我们遇到的 too，多为 “也” 的意思

I like blue. 我喜欢蓝色

I like blue, too. 我也喜欢蓝色

而这里的 too 不是 “也...” 的意思哦，是 “太...” 的意思

too fast 太快，too big 太大，too fat 太胖

一位男子开辆小型摩托车 经过。

went past/go past 是 “经过，路过” 的意思

我们在之前的《A walk in the sun》里也遇到过这个词

"We need to go past that farmhouse,"said Mum.

这里的 go past 也是 “经过，路过” 的意思

His wallet fell out of his pocket.

他的钱包从口袋里 掉了出来。

fell 和 fall 一样，是 “掉落，掉下来” 的意思

out 外面 pocket 口袋，out of his pocket

他口袋的外面

合起来就是，他的钱包 his wallet

掉落 fell 到他口袋外面去了 out of his pocket

His wallet fell out of his pocket.

他的钱包从口袋里 掉了出来。

Nadim 看到那个先生的钱包掉了，朝着他看去，

而开车的那个先生还完全没注意到自己的钱包掉了，

还在继续的开着他的小车。

孩子们看到了钱包。

Nadim picked it up.

Nadim 把他捡了起来。

Biff pointed to the man.

"Is that the man?" Biff 仿佛在确认。

并且说：

"We need to stop him,"said Biff.

“我们要让他停车。” Biff 说。

既然知道钱包的主人是谁了，那肯定得物归原主啊。

"Stop!"they yelled.

“停车！” 他们喊道。

Can the man hear them?

No, he can't.

Because, He's wearing headphones.

掉落钱包的那个男人有没有听到孩子们的喊叫啊？

没有，因为他带着耳机。

带着耳机开车，是非常危险的哦，

我们千万不能学他。带着耳机后，

连前后汽车的鸣笛声都听不见了。

"He cannot hear us,"said Chip.

“他听不到。” Chip 说。

男子没有停车。

He did not look back.

他没有回头看。

Nadim had a plan.

Nadim 有个计划。

然后，他开动汽车（把他送走）。

这里的 scooter 是 “小型摩托车” 的意思，如图所示

还有一样东西也叫 scooter，你也一定玩过，

那就是小朋友玩的那种 “滑板车”，也叫 scooter

fast 快，faster 更快、比较快，fastest 最快的

The man saw his wallet on the Road Burner.

男子看到了 Road Burner 上的钱包。

既然听不到，那怎么办呢？让你看到总行了把。

所以 Nadim 想出了这么个好主意。
