人口普查中的"household"准确界定是什么，怎么翻译？“family household”与“household”有何联系与区别？

The Census Bureau provides these two data points and has a concise explanation on the FAQ page for one of their surveys [2]: “A family consists of two or more people (one of whom is the householder) related by birth, marriage, or adoption residing in the same housing unit. A household consists of all people who occupy a housing unit regardless of relationship. A household may consist of a person living alone or multiple unrelated individuals or families living together.”

household包含的是住在一起的人，可以是亲属，也可以不是亲属，比如佣人、管家或者其他成员，有点类似我们国家说的“户口”、“户”的含义，比如我国人口普查报告中有一个概念“家庭户”，官方提供的译文是 family household。而在这一层面上，family只是指有血缘关系的家庭。

举个一个例子，不知恰当与否，比如我等dd人口合租三室一厅，常住半年以上（算是计入常住人口），如果计算户均收入（mean household income）的话，那么就是3个或4个dd人口的收入平均；如果计算家庭均收入（mean family income）的话，那就是one person喽！
