Abstract:

Ocean color remote sensing has gained great achievements in assessing photo-active properties in the ocean in the past decades, yet its application in photo-inactive properties is still in infancy. Here we show some attempts we have made in remotely estimating sea surface nitrate and surface partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), which are the key parameters in quantifying ocean new production and air-sea CO2 fluxes for a better understanding of the ocean carbon export and oceanic potential in absorbing anthropogenic CO2.

报告人简介:

陈双玲博士, 自然资源部第二海洋研究所卫星海洋环境动力学国家重点实验室,副研究员,浙江省”钱江人才”。本科毕业于天津科技大学,于2018年获得美国南佛罗里达大学海洋科学博士学位,师从水色遥感领域著名专家胡传民教授。从事海洋水色遥感和海洋碳循环领域研究,主要聚焦海洋碳化学与海洋生物光学的遥感应用研究。相关成果发表在Remote Sensing of Environment, Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing等领域权威期刊。近期,陈双玲博士主要研究海洋上层营养盐(硝酸盐)和海洋新生产力的卫星遥感评估,以及海洋碳源汇变化和海洋对大气CO2的吸收潜力。并担任联合国海洋十年OASIS(Observing Air-Sea Interactions Strategy)大科学计划青年委员。
