Stay away!13 years later, my investment is worth less than the contributions (yes, my other portfolios have gained in the meantime, so it's not the market and it's not my stupidity).

I am surrendering now, to save whatever is left - with a 52% penalty loss in a FriendsProviden plan that was sold to me in Dubai in 2010.It's crazy bad. somebody made money on it - most of all the crook who sold it to me. I have had more advisors than years in the plan. most of them useless or super junior and friendly (and then gone after less than 6months).

In DeVere nobody is really interested in your financial future - it's a pure sales job, qualification of the "advisors" is more than doubtful and they do not receive a salary, but live of commissions. all that leads to a toxic sales attitude where nobody cares about the client, there is just no longterm relationship that could be ruined.
